Where do US importers lists come from?
Every shipment that enters the US by sea is filed with customs, and the bill of lading names the importer, the supplier and the goods. That record is public, and it is the one list of who actually buys a product from abroad, rather than who says they might. hedwigAI reads it alongside three other sources:
